KanSmile Foundation
For children with facial differences
Our Mission
We aim to facilitate access to the gold standard of medical care for children with facial differences, in addition to providing educational and social resources for patients and their families.
Why KanSmile?
Children with facial differences require complex, multi-specialty care until adulthood and beyond. Unfortunately, this care is often poorly funded or unsupported by medical insurance, leaving many children without access to proper care. We want to change that for Kansas families.
What we do:
- Financial assistance for medical, dental, orthodontic needs
- Specialty feeding bottles and formulas
- Braces, implants, dental work
- Transportation and housing assistance for appointments and surgery
- Funding for speech therapy
- Educational materials to help parents care for a child with facial differences
- Various medical needs a family may not be able to afford
- Events for families and kids to support and interact with each other
- Assistance with connecting families
- Training and equipment for delivering of care
