Why Kansmile?

Our mission is to ensure individuals with craniofacial differences have access to the gold standard of comprehensive medical care—while also providing vital educational and social support for patients and their families. Because this care is often underfunded and poorly supported by insurance and the state, we are committed to changing that reality—one donation at a time—for Kansas families.

What you will be supporting with your donation:

  • Funding for the medical, dental, psychological and social needs of patients with facial differences.
  •  Specialty feeding bottles and formula to make eating easier.
  • Braces, implants, appliances and other orthodontic needs that insurance may refuse.
  • Transportation and housing assistance for appointments and surgery.
  • Speech therapy assistance.
  • Educational pamphlets and videos to help parents care for a child with craniofacial difference.
  • Other medical needs the family may not be able to afford.
  • Funding for coordinated care with Wichita Cleft and Craniofacial Team Clinic.
  • Assistance helping build relationships among families dealing with facial differences
  • Training, seminars, and equipment for professionals.
